Re: Camera setup

Camcorders are good, I recently invested in one. Look for one with manual controls, and which are connectable via a firewire cable. Canon MDs are good, and have Manual controls, but they can only be accessed by touching the camera. But I'm going to contact Canon later and ask them about that, because touching the camera will cause camera bumps.

Look for something with manual controls basically. Webcams do, but I personally have never tried the C910. I have heard its a good camera though, so if it does work with a mac, unless you find a good cheap camera, then go with it. Hope I helped.

Re: Camera setup

C910 will have no manual controls on a mac.
Get a DV/HDV Video Camera. With firewire.

Re: Camera setup

Hi
I am thinking of buying the Kodak Playsport Digital Camera...do you think this camera is fine to transfer files over to the analyzer software? It transfers files in .mov and I believe that Kinovea supports that file format. I will be analyzing High Jump (Track and Field).
