Re: Café Corner

I just got back from filming a video.
The class was learning how to use the Steadycam, which is really awsome!

You can jump up and down, but the springs in the arm counter your movements, and the camera stays still.

Re: Café Corner

At first I thought that was a safety harness, but then I looked closer and saw that the camera is attached to it. That's pretty cool. But I bet it cost thousands of dollars.

Re: Café Corner

WOW! Man I need to get my butt down to Wal-Mart and pick up some new Pharoah's Tomb sets. But of course my mom went to Target to day when I told her not to and now I'm stuck at home! I hate not being able to drive! mini/madhead

Re: Café Corner

@ZP You are taking film classes too? Neat. I love steadycams. Right now I am learning more about camera angles and storyboarding.

It does indeed cost $3,000.
The camera we used cost $4,000, it was the Panasonic HVX200.

Re: Café Corner

Hazzat, the "tree's" was wrong, but "it's" was not.

Unless you knew that, and was making a different point.

Re: Café Corner

Does anyone have good sound effects for zombie growls/moans or pistol shots? I need them for a film, if I can get some, I should have the finished film up tonight or by tommorow.

No, the "it's" was wrong, and Hazzat was right to point it out.
I believe the song in this video should clear things up (Just wait for the second song, don't quit early).

Re: Café Corner

Hazzat is, indeed, correct.  The possessive form of "its" does NOT have an apostrophe in order to differentiate it from the contraction "it's" ("it is") which does.

Re: Café Corner

Quite right.
Grammer lessons in the Cafe Corner is a wonderful idea!
It would counter some of the spam we get in here.
