Topic: Color Change Problem

Lately I have been testing my new set.  The set is mainly green with a blue background.  After capturing my frames I preview it and in the preview it shows that every time the minifig (Wearing Light Brown) enters the scene the baseplate and most other elements darken slightly causing light flicker every time the minifig enters or leaves the scene.  I have put everything to manual and I don't bump the camera or move the lights.  I get away from the set and to my computer to take pictures.  I think that when the minifig enters the scene a clash of colors changes the lighting on the camera, but why?

Got a Clue?  Please reply.

Re: Color Change Problem

Have you tried setting the white balance to manual?

I can't brickfilm for now. See you guys later.

Re: Color Change Problem

Yeah try to set anything you can to manual cause if it's AUTO your brickfilm will be ruined because of that darn light flicker.

Re: Color Change Problem

he said he already set everything to manual mini/rolleyes

Re: Color Change Problem

I've set everything to to manual and it only changes balance when the minifig comes in to the scene.

Re: Color Change Problem

Oh yeah change everything to manual, check the white balance, and try moving the camera or fixing the lighting.

Re: Color Change Problem

This is an issue that I've had ever since I started Brickfilming.
No matter what I do, I end up with several shots where at least a few frames change color during the shot.

Re: Color Change Problem

I made a mistake by saying I set everything to auto when since I started using the webcam I put everything onto manual, seriously guys I made a mistake.  I still have this problem when the minifig runs into a scene it is as if the color goes brighter.

And @FlashProductions

I use a Logitech Webcam Pro 9000
