Re: Project Super Task Assignment
By animation, do you mean cgi animation, like Myhtical Bailout? Or atcual stop-motion film with real lego bricks?

Somewhat like Mythical Bailout. We'll be using fully articulated rigs, so the figures will be able to bend their arms, bend their neck, crouch, etc. Erm... pretty much what Lech said, except less suggestive.
If anyone is interested in doing animation for this, I'll be posting a tutorial (I haven't decided if I will make my own yet) in the near future that covers the basics of Blender's animation tools. However, if you want to mess around with a rig that is similar to what we'll be using, this one is fairly simple, but uses some things that will be on the mini-figure rig. If it looks too complex, just play around with it, or you can leave it until I have a tutorial up.
From this point on, if Lech and Blue agree with me, I'd like at least the animators to send "auditions," and we might expand this to all other positions. For the animators, what I have suggested above is a way you can do it.
Aww man. I was hoping to do some actual stop-motion for this. Oh well. Mybe they'll make a sequel to horses that talk and I can be in that.

Well...I'd hate to make the current members go through the gauntlet. I'd say yes for future participants and current ones to at least start proving their worth.
Not seeing a lot (actually, anything) from people who signed up for the designing side of the project (concept art, modelling, etc.).
Artistic folks (that pretty much covers all of you), if you would like to contribute, we're looking for fictional product ads, political ads, Public Service announcement-type messages, etc. that would be seen in the background of the film. My creativity can only go so far and I welcome other ideas for product and service ads to be displayed.
We also need people to help with re-creating LEGO elements in Blender, and decals in InkScape or whatever you prefer. We've got some people doing the elements already, but I have seen zip from the 2D artists.
What is mythical bailout?
And I could probably help with Sound Creation, as I have quite a bit of experience with radio and stuff.
