Topic: Rain

Does anyone know a good rain overlay or, once one is found, how to make it work?
I tried making my own overlay and putting it over a video but frankly, it's rubbish: The Rain Fail
Some of the "light flicker" is lightning (there were two inteded strikes), but the rest is Adobe Premier.

I didn't find that because I wasn't really looking for it, I was thinking more how to make a rain overlay (or whatever its called) work 'cos I already have splashes (made from clingfilm) but it looks useful.
