Re: Getting the Lighting Just Right

I give up on that question, since I tried to answer it, but no one takes it well, and I don't use that webcam/quickcam anymore.

Anyways, for your light flicker problem, yes, turn off the white balance. What I do, is set my camera's settings to lamps, and not sunshine, and then I don't face those lamps directly at the set. I point them in various directions.

Also Eddie, next time please use the 'edit' button on the bottom of each of your posts.

Re: Getting the Lighting Just Right

What about natural day light bulbs? Are they much of a difference

Does any one use natural day light bulbs?

Eddie, you know you can edit your posts instead of double-posting.
To remove the wall... you... take away the wall in the way of the light.
Downgrading software, I though someone had a link around here, but to downgrade my software, I E-mailed Logitech asking for the download and they gave me the download.

What do you mean by downgrading software?

I don't make Brickfilms. I trade virtual hats.

Re: Getting the Lighting Just Right

Like switching from 7 to Vista would be downgrading.

Oh. (I'm on Vista, and I don't care. But I understand what you mean mini/tongue )

Why would you want to downgrade your webcam?

Re: Getting the Lighting Just Right

This thread explains why and how.

Re: Getting the Lighting Just Right

Ah, you have my thanks. I've got the Logitech C910; does that have any noticeable problems?

Re: Getting the Lighting Just Right

Hey guys! I tried out all the links on that list Jargon posted and none of them worked! Do you have any other links for Vista to the QC9P 1.0 software?

Re: Getting the Lighting Just Right

Ok guys sorry for the double post but I got the downgrade so now what do I do and how? Like turning it off? Does that mean auto or do I just turn it down all the way?

Re: Getting the Lighting Just Right

Why, why, why do you double post then start with an apology? Click 'EDIT'. It's so simple!

Well if he does edit then know one will read it because they will suspect it is an old post.

By the way is there any chance of any one helping me with my question? mini/blankexpression

That's why you put "EDIT" in front of the text you want to add. He should have done something like this:

But anyway, back on topic. I don't use natural day light bulbs, Penguinking, so unfortunately I can't help you.

Re: Getting the Lighting Just Right

Thank you, StudioL30. I don't want to sound annoying (far from it), but people do read edits, Penguinking.

EDIT: Are you reading this? Case closed.

Tell them to buy you a fire extinguisher, just in case.

Buy or make a heat resistant diffuser.
