i just got AE 5.0 and i am wondering if there are any plug ins for it, also can 5.0 do lightning?

Perhaps you didn't notice mcoov, but your search brought up no results for After Effects 5.0 plug-ins. 
In answer to your question jediknight, I doubt that there are plug-ins online since AE 5.0 is fairly old.
So, AE 5.0 is different from AE CS5?
5.0 is a old version, released in April 2001, and for that reason it's doubtful there are any readily available plug-ins still floating around. Of course, it's quite possible he meant CS5 and didn't bother to type it correctly.
