I've got a pretty odd request for you guys. I'm making a live action action film using finger guns, like only by shaping our arms and heads.
anyway, towards the end, a sniper takes out the hero, but I need a 3D animation of a fingernail, like the slow-mo bullets in 'Wanted' and 'The Matrix'
If anyone can make it and render it in blender, that would be awesome.

i concur. but why not just chroma key a real toenail? (although I have no Idea where you would find one of those)

I mean, it would require less work editing it together. I would still have to key it with the footage, but at least a 3D rendering would be preferably prekeyed and could have more flexible camera motion, as needed.
I might be able to do it but I'm not sure.
you could just take a picture of your fingernail then rotoscope the fingernail out.
Do you guys notice the date on MMproductions' last post? Just a friendly tip for the future.
