Re: Café Corner

I've been thinking recently (like... today) about moving on from legos to more articulated things. I want bigger things, challenging. Bionicles do not look organic, but I'll try to do something with them because of the articulations.

Re: Café Corner

Yeah, I find animating bigger things to be WAY more fun than tiny Lego characters. I sometimes animate a few short Bionicle or action figure things when I get too fed up with how difficult Lego can be. Out of everything I've tried, I'd say that action figure (the ones with a ton of joints) are by far the easiest.

And thank you Eddie, for that insightful and helpful comment. It really expanded and opened-up the conversation, with a controversial yet topical answer to an otherwise boring question.

I must say this is true.

Since this is a family issue, I can't say much about it.

In fact, I'm posting this sentence undercover.

I might talk more 'bout it on steam. But for now, I can't post much for the time being.

Just ask peanut to direct you to me on steam.

His steam name's changed to nega-scout.

Bye.

EDIT: Oh, and it's my bro's fault, BTW. Not any of you guys.

Ugh, girls constantly worry about their hair. It looks fine. Congrats, by the way! Sounds like a lot of fun! Was this an animation based festival, or all sorts of film types?

Thankyou mini/smile
It was all film types. It's actually a pretty large festival, even some people that are on Australian TV shows were there.

FYI, I'm coming back to an active status (that's visiting every day in my vocabulary mini/wink ) in the summer probably, and I'll visit occasionally, but yeah...it was my mom. She's super protective about the internet, I mean, I'm 14 with no email. But yeah, as Ahnold said, I'll be back

Re: Café Corner

Just watched the Golden Globes (only about half an hour of it, skipped through all the boring speeches and ads). Ricky Gervais has the biggest damn balls in the universe.

Re: Café Corner

Watched Catch Me If You Can last night. Pretty good.

Re: Café Corner

The worst thing about these award ceremonies are the speeches. The winners are always like "Oh, if it was n't for my supporters I wouldn't have won and BLAH- BLAH" but under their breath they're saying "HA! I beat all the rest! Take that, Leo!"

Back In Black!

Re: Café Corner

I also watched the Golden Globe awards. I would have preferred "the King's Speech" to get more awards though. The Social Network got most of'em.

Re: Café Corner

I didn't really find Gervais' jokes all that funny, especially when he went on tangents that really had nothing to do with the awards. I was kind of disappointed, even his delivery was more like that of a little kid who was so eager to get to the punchline that he forgot to tell the joke. I don't even care about whether he was being mean or not (although apparently some do according to MSN, which baffles me because... it's a joke?), most of the jokes were just so painfully obvious and badly delivered that I was left looking forward to the presenters far more than his hosting bits. At least Robert Downey Jr. got up there.

Well, I find lego easy to animate. Mostly, I want to try design and build my own "characters". Though, for now, I don't have the tools to build it. I can still design all I want.
