Why don't you look at pics of some sets related to your idea? Then you could maybe build a lego version...

Yeah, I guess the war was just tents and fields...never ending fields...

Ah, excellent! I can be as vulgar as I intended (once you see who delivers the line, you will understand why the minor word is necessary)

If your talking about YouTube, I believe you are allowed to keep it PUBLIC AFTER the deadline has past. If you finish your film EARLY you are allowed to upload it to YouTube and set it to UNLISTED.

No, you're not allowed to show it to anyone until the deadline, or until a few days before the deadline, depending on the circumstances this time around.

Re: BiM 2011: TOY [CLOSED]

Would we be aloud to, say... Make an update video with a small amount of footage from it (with no audio) for an update video or something? Or is this request to preposterous for Smeagol to allow?

Re: BiM 2011: TOY [CLOSED]

I'm pretty sure the only thing you cannot do it give the whole film before, or give all of your footage. I wouldn't give out all the footage anyway. That's just a guess though, I did a trailer last year for the trailer contest, and before that, I did a video with a a little update and another shorter trailer, I didn't have no problems. mini/lol (PS: Please check out the page for my film I'm making for this contest. Re: BiM 2011: TOY [CLOSED]

Still thinking about an idea, old ones ended up not being usable. Think I will approach the "Short and Sweet" method for this, don't have much time on my hands, being a major exam year and all.

You can do anything, just have fun while doing it.

Yeah same with me. Don't think I will even compete with all the pressures of exams this year. mini/frustrated

Yeah I'll like to know this because I hope to release the trailer on 14th April 2011 - Exactly 99 years after the Titanic sank .That would be awesome!    mini/smile

I still need this answered:
[...]could one release a trailer for his film before the contest deadline, or does that violate the rules?
