No
thanks
If Incompetech was a virus-filled site, we would not recommend it to you.
incompetech is a very safe site with awesome music. no viruses there. also macs are less velnrable to viruses, even without antivirus software (which I dont have either) you are safe
Buddy no worries! We ALL who have used the music from incompetech.com can strongly agree that there are no viruses at that site. It's clean like a baby's skin! ![]()
Yes, you will. Not the computer kind, the debilitating-plague-that-will-infect-your-body-and-turn-you-and-two-thirds-of-your-town-into-zombies kind.
Enjoy! ![]()
What about www.findsounds.com is it safe?
Also is there any other sound effect sites you'd recommend.
Any comments would be great.

Freesound is a great site. You have to sign up before you can download anything, but its free and easy. I've used it and I can't see it giving you any viruses.
Findsounds can be useful, but there are a few problems. One is that its more like google for sounds, the sounds you get there can come from anywhere, from anyone. Maybe a few could be risky. And for two, Findsounds really is just a search engine as far as I'm aware. The things you get from there may have some sort of copyright on them. I don't see any harm in this for normal films for when your not making any money or anything like that, but I don't think you'll be allowed it for competitions. I remember some of the AG entries were effected by this. I don't really see how anyone will find out, but I wouldn't risk it. Freesound is easier, much better sound effects, and royalty free. As long as you credit their site, then your good to use them in competitions.
Hope I helped. ![]()
