I was watching 'Zodiac' on TV the other day. It was truly awesome.

Agreed. Nothing against TSN, though, which is great.

You may disagree with me, but I found this film very entertaining and very well done technically wise.

Disagree. Disagree. Disagree. Disagree. Disagree.

I loved the "War" music number at the end. mini/cat

Bullitt

Great movie (especially the cinematography!) ... except for the girlfriend's speech by the roadside, which came across corny as hell. I think it was a combination of the actress and the writing of that particular bit ... still, it helped set up the end, which was nice and understated.

T'would have gotten that house clean in NO TIEM. Also, that clown was freakin' creepy. It doesn't help that I already hate clowns.

Crank & Crank: High Voltage

I'm not quite sure how to describe Crank, but I know everyone needs to see it.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Underworld Trilogy
Not bad. I don't usually find this whole vampire/werewolf stuff that interesting, but Underworld wasn't too bad.

The Truman Show
ahh. Don't you just love what kids now-a-days do in school?

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Black Swan

I loved the film, but I think I probably would've been able to immerse myself further into it if I had seen it alone.

I saw it with my parents, and I couldn't shake the feeling they were there during the lesbian sex scene.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Haha.

Anyways;

The Virgin Spring
When comparing this to Wes Craven's "The Last House on the Left" ('72), the Virgin Spring
definitely tops it, but only by a little. I loved the acting in this movie, and the ending.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

WOAH, WAIT. Did Ron just say "Twilight is better."?

Anyway, I though it was fine. I liked the Deathly Hallows sequence, although it felt out of place — perhaps it was a little too stylized.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Whoa, where'd you see that? I can't seem to find it in theaters anywhyere within 100 miles of me. ):

Anywayz...

Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010)

Eh. It started out pretty good, until they introduced the whole "Search for dem magic swurdz and kill dat green mist" crap. After that it felt like like a race, rushing past all the islands and places in the book like checkpoints, hardly lingering for more than 10 minutes at each and ruining the adventurous/explorative feel the book had. And the tension (if any) throught the movie was like a wet noodle. If they make the Silver Chair, I don't know if I will even go to see it. From what they've shown so far, they're incabable of capturing the same charm as C.S. Lewis' books.

Synecdoche, New York, Enter the Void, and Oldboy. That's three movies, not four. Three very strange movies.

Also, Mr. Nobody and The Social Network, both of which I enjoyed immensely.

I've seen it ten times or something by now. I love this movie so much.
Listen up, maggots. You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else.

Noises Off
While I don't doubt that this is a story better-suited to the stage, I really did enjoy it, apart, perhaps, from the cutesy ending. The theatrical shenanigans backstage were spot-on and there was such a great sense of timing throughout.
