Topic: Blurb on Our Profile Page
I was wondering if it was a good idea to add a text box on our profile page, to tell a little about our personallity and preferences.

I'd have to go with no... anyone with the burning desire to give that information out can do it in the Cafe Corner or Introduce Yourself threads.
Moreover, we've got a review system that needs revamping, no resources page, and no way of editing directory entries. Frankly, I think our (volunteer) programmers have better things to do at the moment.
I know that programmers of this fine site have better and, overall, more important things to do on this site and their private lives. Thus, I am not implying that this should be done right now, but instead, be a little perk to add when this site is fully up-and-running. I think that a blurb on the users' profile page is better than having to sift though the hunderds of pages in Cafe Corner and the introduction thread. I'm just looking ahead into the "distant" future.
Personally I feel that this wouldn't work very well. The profile itself already basically gives all the personality and preferences that we need, and we could just put that in our signature. Or, as Noodle said, just go into Cafe Corner and post there about whatever the hellck you want to say about yourself.
Just seems kind of pointless to me, and even if they did get around to completely finishing the site, it still would be completely pointless and there would be no need for it.
Yeah.
