Note: These days, community activity has largely moved to the BiM Discord. Join us!
We are a friendly filmmaking community devoted to the art of stop-motion animation using LEGO® and similar construction toys. Here, you can share your work, join our community of other brickfilmers, and participate in periodic animation contests!
A place to discuss, share, and create stop motion films.

"Jabber" in the user profiles has been changed to "Skype," since nobody uses "Jabber," whatever that is.
You may also notice the forums have been shifted around a bit. I'm hoping this will make things more clear as far as where new threads go, once people are used to the new forum divisions.
edit: Also, I've added color-coding to the users online list, and moved the chat link to be listed under community forums. It's only visible when you're logged in because we've had problems with trolling recently.
Just to mention, someone may want to update the copyright dates next month. They all read 2009.
Well, we've hit the two year mark four days ago. How are we doing?
Wow, 2 years already?! Smeagol's done a darn good job.
2 years? Wow. I think the site is doing quite well. New members joining every day, and new films being posted every week. Also the forums are quite active, and the contest this site holds every year never cease to amaze me. The only thing I think needs to be worked on is the Film directory, (Getting films reviewed a little bit quicker), and getting the Resources section up.
Unable to fully manage our films in the directory and the resource page is still locked up.
Darn good job on that front.

It's unfortunate, but the truth is that I'm not a programmer and made that clear from the onset. I have to rely on volunteers to get most of the actual development work done, and most of them have either stopped coming here as much or don't have time to commit to it right now.
In the mean time I try to focus on the community and keep regular contests going.
Two years ago, the site was a mess.
Now, it's still a mess. Just littler.
Haha, not really. It's a lot better than it was two years ago, and kudos to you guys for that.

And you are doing a fantastic job at that.
