Re: The Animation Challenge
2nd Place: Paweł Kamiński HWS
Nice job, I really liked the dent, but the impact with the wall looked a little bit fake.
What you mean with "FAKE"?

It was more cartoonish, and I was looking for realism.

You should wrote it... But never mind, thanks for the second place man! ![]()
Thanks Solid! I honestly think Paweł's was better than mine, though. ![]()
I just wanted to let you know that I know I won and a theme is coming soon. Suggestions are welcome, because I just had a total brain fart.

I really want SWIMMING! ![]()
OK, sounds good.
The theme is Swimming.
Deadline is next Wednesday! Good luck! ![]()

The whole point of this is to challenge yourself. So challenge yourself. Brickfilming has near-infinite possibilities. Here are some ideas that I am thinking of on the spot while typing this. You could put the lego in real water and attach him with a long stick to the bottom to prevent unwanted movement, but the water itself may pose a problem. You could make a blue baseplate and use a minifig head to make it seem he's underwater and floating, you could make a side-diarama, where you have a lego wall that is blue, and the figure behind it, and more walls behind that, thus creating ocean layer effect (see the end credits of Unrenewable). Those are just some ideas.

but yea i guess your right, but i think i might sit this one out. (maybe)
