Topic: Something like WMM?
I'm completely fed up with WMM, it keeps crashing, and I'm not gonna use it anymore. Does anyone know of a software that is like WMM, but does not crash every 5 seconds?

It's that point every filmmaker reaches, when they realise that Windows Movie Maker isn't sophisticated enough for their movie-related ambitions. If you want something free, have a look at The Free Software List.
However, if you're planning to make a genuine upgrade to a proper editing software, the most popular software used by brickfimers is Sony Vegas. I, and several others (including Mindgame, I think) use Adobe Premiere, which has a very nice learning curve (it will take you a while to suss everything out). The software used by professionals (as, in people in the film and television industry) is Final Cut, which has just about everything an editing software can have, but it Mac only.
I only have like $10.00 in my wallet, so I don't see myself with Sony Vegas, Adobe Premire, or Final Cut anytime soon. And I forgot about the Free Software list. Thanks!

It didn't go so well last time.... I have some mean people in my neighborhood.
I've reached this point too..
Luckily one of my friends got some software free with his camera, and it is brilliant software, and he said he will let me have his disc and install a copy. (I'm sure that's perfectly legal...

Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 10 is very good. It might seem expensive at first, but looking at what you get it is really worth it. Some of the features might seem a little overkill, but believe me once you get into it, you will find that you use almost all of the effects.
