Topic: iMovie: Is it good?

I haven't made a Brickfilm in several years and don't remember how to use the programs I did back then.  I recently purchased a Macbook and was wondering if iMovie would be good for putting my movie together.  Is it relatively simple?  And if so, if I get good with the program are there a lot of advanced editing options?

Note: I'm using Monkeyjam on my PC (which is very slow) to capture the video, and plan to transfer them to my Mac where I want to do all the editing (since I can take it with me anywhere).

Thanks.

Re: iMovie: Is it good?

iMovie is pretty ok, but i suggest downloading iMovie HD because it has a timeline at the bottom, and editing is easier. i forget how to download it but you could search for a tutorial on youtube, if no luck, use iMovie. hope this was helpful mini/smile

Re: iMovie: Is it good?

I think iMovie is a swell program, and provides all the resources you need for editing a simple film.

Re: iMovie: Is it good?

I suggest iMovie HD, my friend has iMovie and I still can't figure it out! iMovie HD has a timeline and is very, very easy to add sound, edit, and add effects and titles.

the new iMovie is much easier to use but iMovie HD 6 comes up with better results. In my opinion iMovie HD is the best editing software out there!!!
