Re: The Animation Challenge

We're looking foward to your video, however you do not need to post every though (this isn't the chat room), please no double posting, and if you haven't realized, this contest ended on Friday.

I recommend reading A Beginner's Guide to Bricksinmotion.com.

Did it? I know Filmyguy wanted to end it on Friday, but he hasen't judged yet. I really want to make an epic chase from T2, and I'd love to enter it into this. This theme is really right up my street, I always love chases in films, and will make my own one, whenever Filmyguys going to judge now or later.

Re: The Animation Challenge

I know Filmfire96... If you uploaded it now (like me) you might still have a chance to enter, if you didn't already... we'll see when he judges it...

Re: The Animation Challenge

Here are the goods and bads.
GOODS:
Your cars were okay.
Story was sort of simple to follow.

BADS:
Either the frame rate was too slow for the pics, or the pics were too much for the frame rate, but the action was WAY too slow and almost boring.
Halfway, the cops disapeared when they stole the gem... (no time to get out of car- its not logical)
My biggest annoyance was the lack of set. You just animated the whole thing on your laptop.

Could use alot of work. 2/5

Re: The Animation Challenge

It's not a set building challenge anyway! You might understand it better when the second version comes out. In fact, when the second version comes out they'll say,"Come on! can't this thing go any faster! Well, at least the police have a junky car too." and they eventually get ahead and say,"we've lost 'em!" So I'm pretty sure you'll understand the second version better... also, there is some missing footage that will explain it even more in the second version. So if anyone doesn't understand it they might want to watch the second version... when it comes out...

3rd Place: Jacksonsullivan
Loved the cartoon sounds, pretty ok animated. Just wasn't very realistic.
2nd Place: Luke
Liked it, pretty good animation, not perfect. Liked the ending.
1st: Place: Solid Blast
Great job, dude. Nice camera quality, you tried out shaking the camera, I liked that. Nice and short, well edited.

Don't know what happens now, I thought somebody said something about a parkour challenge or something. idk, if not, then you can just make a new theme, Solid Blast. If you do, make an awesome one!
Thanks for the entries, guys!
