Yeah I cringe whenever someone gives Burton credit for Coraline.
I think he did a good job with Alice (or Malice) in Wonderland (or Underland).

Back to the Future Part III
OK, I could go into loads of plot-holes...but that's because I haven't seen I and the first half of II. I missed how Doc managed to get to the 19th century without taking the Delorian with him - meaning the whole movie is pointless and does not make sense, but maybe that's explained earlier, or I need to watch the movie again.
Oh, and the 'Clint Eastwood' gags were HILARIOUS. I loved the little things, such as 'Clint Eastwood' on the grave.

Pretty interesting if you liked the film and the whole story about Ed Wood.

Ed Wood makes a very personel movie, but the 15 min very weird dream sequence you just feel like "WTF". It's just weird stuff.
+ Bela Lugosi delivering weird lines is awesome.

Not that bad, the horrible made fight sequences is were the fun is, and Bela Lugosi acting of course.

I LOVE ED WOOD FLIMS BY THE WAY! especially plan 9 from outer space. but the best movies i have ever seen are : Star Wars, Nacho Libre, Dark Star, Napoleon Dynamite

Do you mean how he got into the future back from the 18th century? Or are you asking why he was in the 19th century in the first place when he was back in 1885?

Beautiful movie, the cinematography was amazing for it's time, lighting was above average and the acting was phenomenal. Not to mention it having such a riveting storyline. "SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE!"
Soylent Green] is one of my favorite movies. That scene where they just sit and eat is just great.
Tron: Legacy
Re-watched the original last night, saw the new one today (in 3D). Overall, I had a fun time. I saw a review (on io9 or something) which said the movie ripped off the Matrix, which was funny, because when I re-watched the original movie I thought 'Damn, Flynn is basically Neo.' I thought any Matrix-like aspects were pretty much in keeping with the spirit of the original.
Obviously the two biggest immediate pluses were the visuals and the score by Daft Punk. One thing that kinda makes me scratch my head, though, is that they spent a cool 200 mill on this baby. Obviously, if it's Tron, you want good effects (what with the original being an experimental milestone in that area), but I honestly wonder how much potential there is for recouping/profiting on top of that? I mean, I always saw the original Tron as a bit of a cult classic.
Olivia Wilde was awesome. She brought a fantastic quirky innocence to her role. Bridges was fun to watch, even if he felt a bit less Flynn and a bit more Dude. The main guy wasn't amazing but I didn't think he was terrible either.
The main problem was vagueness of areas of the plot, and half-thought through concepts. I think I will have to see the movie at least a second time to completely solidify my opinion of its merits overall.
I also thought some of the conversations/plot exposition got a bit long-winded. I'm curious as to what this film would be like to someone who never saw the first?
Also? I would totally sit through a movie solely based on Castor. He was just awesome for every moment he was onscreen.
Black Swan
Finally got to see this movie, the wait was worth it. This film was great, the lighting though is a bit
iffy. Portman's preformance was amazing.
Your Vice is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key
The title is long, but the movie isn't. This Itallian giallo is super fun to watch.

I did find "Look Marty! It runs on steam!!" hilarious though. I should be saying how implausible it is, but it was just so freaking cool.

Well you're working with time travel, a future/past Marty or Doc could have brought him back and left him there

Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome
Holy crap. I've heard some deride this as being a loony third movie and the low point of the series, and while I'll agree with the former, I'm not so sure about the latter. The action was not only awesome as usual, but they managed to introduce loads of crazy new characters and concepts in a giant stew ... and it worked! It just really had all the ingredients to make a fun action/adventure film. This may be one of my favorite film trilogies. I can't think of much else to say aside from that I agree with Roger Ebert's 1985 rating.
