Did I mention that I LOOOOVE to play Republic Commando online? I really wish they'd make a sequel. But no, instead we get Force Unleashed II.
@Brickyman I'm guessing it's your opinion that Halo totally sucks and that the developers put no effort what-so-ever into it? Haters gonna hate. Although since Bungie is no longer the developer I have low expectations for 343 Industries. I finished ODST recently (only got an xbox a month ago). It was fun, although I hate the nightime missions, and the fact that it takes two headshots to kill a Brute (very unsatisfying).

The Uncharted 3 trailer looks awesome, the character animations look brilliant. Next year has so many awesome games coming out, and I've gotta get through all the Mass Effect games as well.
UGH, just remembered that next year is year 12. Social life or videogames... Well in that case, I guess 2012 will be awesome.

Next year will be awesome for Playstation players, we've got Littlebigplanet 2, Resistance 3, and Uncharted 3.
Not that I have anything against Xbox players.

I just bought a used copy of Alan Wake, and I must say, it's a pretty cool title. The game can be a bit repetitive, but each section of the game is designed like an "episode" of an Alan Wake tv show. So, it's a good title to revisit every week or so. It's $25 at gamestop, I recommend it

I have been really enjoying playing "Battalion Wars 2", it is alot more challenging then you would think.
If I said this already, someone tell me.
I got a star wars best of pc pack (5 games) for $1 each game.

But this has been a year of the nintendo players. 
Super mario galaxy 2, Metroid Other M, Donkey Kong country returns, Goldeneye, the announcement of the Zelda next year, Kirby's epic Yarn, Epic Mickey etc etc...

A timetable hasn't been issued yet, and there's been some changes in the way the examinations have been done. It's all a part of the TEE/WACE transition that's been going on to get WA's education system in line with the rest of Australia. The year 12's finished in October this year, so hopefully...
And Killzone 3's coming out next year. I couldn't get into 2, but a lot of people liked it.
Edit: I forgot about the Ico/Shadow of the Colossus HD Collection as well as The Last Guardian. I never got to play Ico or Shadow, and I can't wait until they come out in full HD.
That makes 6 PS3 exlcusives which all seem to be shaping up for game of the year contenders. Now that I think about it, the only non-ps3 exclusive I'm looking forward to are Rage and Mass Effect 3.

Actually the complete opposite.
I think Halo is an excellent series, and will be hard to out-do, but unless they have a brilliant idea to give the new games, they should just end it now before they run it into the ground in shame.

Ok, now that's a direct insult, not nice. And did you read the part where I said "I have low expectations for 343 industries"? I assumed that you were talking about everything wasn't as fun after the first game, which seems to be a common point of view. Sorry for the misunderstanding, but please don't insult me for misunderstanding.
I do think that on the internet, everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion, but that was a bit harsh, Brickyman.
