Oh, and I just played through Sonic Colors (Wii). I truly found this to be the best modern day sonic game. I loved every second of it.

Well, it looks to me like a cross between Sonic 4 and Super Mario Bros. 3 - which isn't really a bad combo.  I find it annoying how such a bada$$ video game hero is turned into a colourful pansy. But I suppose, once you've turned into a WEREWOLF there is no salvaging your reputation...

I bought GTA IV yesterday, and Oh man. That is the best game I've bought for years. The models, the graphics, the small details Rockstar Games and Rockstar North Productions put into this is amazing. And the Physics Engine. It's really just amazing. The game was invented back in 2008, but simply beats the graphic and gameplay out of most games from today. Since I've been playing games by Rockstar since 2001-2002, this is most likely their biggest step since GTA: San Andreas. I still have the original one from 2004 lingin' around somewhere.

I bought GTA IV for PC, and it's quite.. Let's say, "easily" ported from the Playstation 3. Because it has quite some bugs, that the Playstation one does not have. Not something you notice easily, but it sure is noticable. Although the PC version allows you to make your own radio channels, record with the inbuild HD recorder, and play a Multiplayer with 32 Max Players. So overall, this is an awesome game. I can't seem to find anything real bad in there, other than the realistic Physics Engine.. Which can be a bit too realistic sometimes...

San Andreas is a huge leap from Liberty City.

VGAs..pshh! Those things are rigged and everyone knows it. They just hire big names to get attention.

Looking at the list of previous winners, I can't say there are any overrated shooters on there. GTA IV may be debatable (some people don't like it, but I did). Though the Best Shooter award does seem to go out to overrated games.

And Woods for best character? What?

Unfortunately, this is what happens when you have an award show made to cater to the so-called "hardcore gamers." Personally, I hate the term hardcore when referring to the playing of videogames and I hate the term gamer.

And the lack of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow for best original score is a tragedy. I played the demo and was shocked by the quality of the music and I've been listening to it on Youtube. Maybe it wasn't good enough to win (haven't played any of the games nominated except Mass Effect 2), but it was definitely good enough to be nominated.

November's gonna be packed. Uncharted 3, Skyrim, Mass Effect 3...maybe more that I'm forgetting?

For my birthday I got tons of gift cards and counted up to $100 at Gamestop. What are the games you guys would buy with that money? Or should I get a second hand console with it and a little extra cash?

Has anyone else heard about this? Supposedly a leaked image of 'Halo Nemesis' which is being allegedly worked on by 343 industries, who are now the developers of Halo since Bungie is no longer making Halo games. I'm getting sick of people saying crap like 'it looks sooo good so early in devopment!' It looks as if it is based on the Reach engine, and the HUD is terrible, even for an early build, and what does NO in the compass mean? Oh, and I'm sick of people automatically saying it's gonna be an RPG for some reason.
I personally am not sure whether it's real, but it reminds me a lot of those "Tom Morello" screenshots of Reach, but if the HUD were a bit more convincing I might be convinced. And with the third person thing, the first Halo was originally intended to be a TPS, so I can see how that would make sense.
