Christmas is after all a Christian Holiday, so why should it be called by any other name? We're half expecting you guys to say something like "Bah, humbug!"

I didn't say that (or at least didn't mean to). I know that Jewish people always had Hanukkah, what I'm saying is some families adapted "Chanukkah," a Christmas-like version of Hanukkah. They have eight gifts (total or from each relative, I forget), and get to pick and open one each day at sundown. I know this from my friend (who celebrates this). I guess it was adapted in order for the Jewish kids not to feel left out from the "get tons of presents during the holidays" thing Christmas has going.
Chanukah is an alternate spelling of Hanukkah (converted to Roman characters variously) and has nothing to do with how Christmasy it is, though. But yeah I could see the gift-giving, etc. borrowing from Christmas.

I'm slowly working on that
Hey guys, a lot of people are saying Merry Christmas, but over half the population of the world aren't Christians. Say "Happy Holidays."
As a non Christian I would say Christmas. The simple fact is hardly anything about Christmas is Christian. Christmas trees are not a Christian tradition and nor is a large feast in mid winter. Actually the only things in my house that is derived from Christians is the star on top of the tree and Father Christmas. Both of which are barely Christian anyway.
And in a lot of the world Christmas is not a public holiday so to say "happy holidays" sort of doesn't make sense. And America's Christmas is basically a copy of the protestant english Christmas which in turn is mostly pre-christian Celtic and Germanic.
And Christmas is different in different places. Its more catholic in France and Belgium for instance. And then when Europe went all imperialistic and started taking over the world they took Christianity with them. This then created even weirder Christmases when it merged with the local traditions.
So anyway it's called "Christmas", doesn't matter whether you are Christian or not.
Christ= Christ mas. And what about nativity scenes. It's Christ's birth.
Actually Eddie, that's incorrect. No one actually knows what day or even month Jesus was born in.
Christmas originates from what are actually very non-christian beginnings. I'd go into it, but I honestly can't be bothered typing it all out. A google will help you. I agree with TDogg - I think it's silly for non Christians to complain and moan about it being called "Christmas" when it comes from pagan origins. If anything, Christians have more right to complain, as it doesn't originate with our religion. That said, I have no problems with the term "Merry Christmas".
That's not to say that Christians such as myself aren't free to celebrate the holiday. However for a Christian it's a fine time to remember the birth of Jesus and celebrate it, and not celebrate its pagan origins.
I know that. It's just the time we celebrate.

I was fiddling with a liquify effect in After Effects a moment ago, giving my main character, a robot, some expression.
It went horribly, horribly wrong:

Don't worry, I weaved some expression magic (lol, pun) and now it actually looks good instead of horrifying
