Xmas actually stems from an old Christian symbol that looks like an X with a P through the middle, but as you can see there's not a key for that on your keyboard. Hence "Xmas".

@Eddie- You know, the Jewish adopted their version of Christmas- it's called Chanukah, and instead of Santa, theirs Hanukah Harry.

Hanukkah is not a "Jewish version of Christmas." To call it that is kind of insulting to both...
I didn't say that (or at least didn't mean to). I know that Jewish people always had Hanukkah, what I'm saying is some families adapted "Chanukkah," a Christmas-like version of Hanukkah. They have eight gifts (total or from each relative, I forget), and get to pick and open one each day at sundown. I know this from my friend (who celebrates this). I guess it was adapted in order for the Jewish kids not to feel left out from the "get tons of presents during the holidays" thing Christmas has going.
I don't see why some people are so obsessed with coming here often. There really isn't that much to do, especially at unpopular times of the day.
For me, this is the only community I feel actually involved in, and I feel good to be a part of something. Until I get banned, then I slink down into depression for a while, then come back to the site when the ban's lifted, then I'm happy again. Cycle of my life.
