There's a lot of mixed feelings about it so, how about we play it by ear? If there's been enough entries by a weeks time, we can end it then. But if there isn't and people are still working we'll leave the deadline for the 17th. howsa that sound?
I want it to be a little longer than a week. I'm planning to have a police car chase, but since I rarely get any Lego city sets, so I don't have a police car. So I really have a lot of pieces to go through, and I'm planning to make it big, so it might take a while. I'd have enough time to build the car before the original deadline, but I wouldn't have time to animate it. Maybe not the 17th, but why not the 16th? People should have they're set, plot, and characters ready before the big THAC day.

I've developed a pretty good idea for this, but two weeks would make it much easier... I'd suggest two weeks, but thats just me.
Great challenge idea, i'm gonna enter. (if I can get myself to)
Make the dead line the 13th, that way if your nearly finished or have already entered you don't have to wait that long but if you want more time you have it 
Well I'm going a lot faster on this police car model than I thought. I'm almost done with it and I've just got to find one vital piece... I got a whole lot of Lego to go through today...

Nice Flash Code. The only bad part about it is that the cars aren't moving, only that lamppost on the side... still a pretty good technique.

A technique is only good if you can pull it off. Look at Max Butcher's video's link a page back.

It did look kinda like they were moving. It would've helped if he moved the wall too, because we can see the spaces between the bricks, but it would be easier to just move the cars instead of move the wall. I'll be sure I don't make that mistake in my animation.
Here's another video with a great intense car chase, I recommend watching it in the HIGHEST QUALITY POSSIBLE. It will blow your mind.

James Bond? That reminds me, isn't Daniel Craig gonna be replaced by Justin Bieber as James Bond? Not many people should understand that, but it's an inside joke. Filmyguy should definitely understand that. Watch his 2nd tim and fred halloween special VERY closely, and you might notice something that not everybody notices. In fact, look at his post above, there's a link right there.

I made the white car this evening for my entry. The white car actually turned out really nice, too bad it's going to be destroyed in a car chase.
