I'd just like to point out that masking, sticky tac, light flicker, terrible software, etc, are not things that you animate. The title pretty clearly asks about things you love or hate to animate, which does not include things that are involved in the animation process but aren't actually animation.

Look, the title says What do you LIKE or HATE to animate. Not what do you like or hate to do with the whole film production.
Anyway.
Like
Animating cool, interesting things. (eg a minifigure getting hit by s car or camera movements)
Hate
Animating dialogue, fight scenes.

Not trying to find an excuse, but masking isn't a part of animating either but many people still wrote that they hate it. Anyway, anything that involves the animation is a part of it.
I still hate animating dialogue with a burning passion...
Like
Car movement and scenes that aren't frustratingly difficult because you actually thought about it when writing the script.
Hate
Walking cycle in places where you can't place the mini-figure standing up (keeps falling over), in other words it's hard to place the mini-figure because of the scene with walls and ceilings.

I find that anything can be easy in animation, you just need to know the best way to do it and make a film that looks good that was easy to make.
