Topic: Sony Vegas masking

So I was thinking of getting Sony Vegas Pro. I mainly wanted it because it has the mask tool.
But I have found out, that I am looking for over 200 pounds on that feature.
I was wandering if anyone knew of any other Sony Vegas series, which may be a little cheaper, that has the mask tool?
