Dude me too! I made movies with my mum's camera! It was about 3 years ago too! Most of them were really crappy. But the first brickfilm I made was called Moses the Guy with the Beard . It was all about the life of Moses. It took me the whole summer to make it as I was still unfamiliar with brickfilming and due to how long his life was. The product: a 30 minute long movie which was mostly the effect of bad animation. It was still fun to watch!

So yeah, I'm back from my mind.

Re: Café Corner

I started animating when I was about 9 years old.
My first animation was a Bionicle raising his arm, After that, I moved on to animating lego.
Now I am where I am now.
I think I've come a long way. mini/sunnies

Re: Café Corner

I started animating two years and two months ago, I think. And in two years the only good half decent brickfilm I made is the pointless brickfilm fight animation. How sad mini/sad.

Re: Café Corner

I would of expected a lot more failed BiM community projects, it seems like every three months someone proposes a new CP before the enthusiasm dies a week later.

Anyway, as you are all probably very anxious to know, I've finished the school, so yes, 2 months of freaking noschooltime, baby.

But I'm still super duper worried about my exam results. I did so badly in my english exam, I felt like I had indigestion the whole time, and it was so frustrating, I just couldn't concentrate at all, I ended up skipping the rest of the day in the sick bay. I am so pissed off with how that went. And I couldn't leave during the test, because a bunch of new rules have been put in place - if you have to leave the gym to go to the toilet, you have to spend the rest of the time outside, you can't come back to finish off your test. Some !@#$ rule to stop people sneaking their phones into the toilets to look stuff up.

ugh i h8 this soooo much >:(

We have the same rule, and we're there for like 4 hours. Bad luck for small-blattered people. Or asses.

Re: Café Corner

As the discussion of community collaborative projects has come up I thought I'd ask you something. I'm thinking of creating a new project myself. I have a feeling I'm going to be throttled for this as I have already attempted twice. So before you talk me out of it, read until the end of this message and then see what you think. Anyways, so the only reason my last one fell through (Too many pies) was due to Lechnology's project coming up, which got a lot more attention. So that was the dilemma, and thus the reason for that project going to the dumps.

The Match-up Animator thing basically failed when all the Collaborators quit. So anyways, I've been meaning to start something a bit more wholesome and long lasting so that it doesn't pressure anyone into getting it done quickly. My idea being a community Trailer, like Whittleberry's Dracula, except with Pharaoh's Quest, as the storyline for that is already perfect for a film. So basically each animator who chooses to join the project then does a clip. However it'll be more generally oriented to those who don't wish to animate, as we'll need sound, SFX, CGI, and other such aspects. So tell me if I shouldn't do it, chance it, or even if you'd like to take part.

You've called him that twice now. He's called Lechnology. With an L.

Sounds like a good idea, but wait until Lechnology's project is over.

Re: Café Corner

An easy mistake to make. Anyways, I actually have two suggestions for those who like my idea, that is A. We go with the Pharaoh's Quest trailer, or B. We do a full length news show, in which animators take different roles to create adverts, news reporters at different locations, the main office, etc.

Re: Café Corner

Well, there's a pretty big difference between T and L...

Re: Café Corner

I like both. But B sounds more manageable....

I was actually wondering who you were, I recognize you from the Indiana Bones series. Speaking of which - how's that coming along? The animation in it was really good.
