The Script Offering Thread

ok, to start off- i don't know if there's a thread out there which is like this area..sooo.....

This is not like the share your story idea thread- this is give away your script.

Ok. Here you will not share your scripts- but offer them to people for free
you may think of this as a dumb idea and that nobody will post scripts here- but you'll be surprised. This actually happened to me. Suppose one night you come up with an idea, and you script it out, but it doesn't fit your style or you just can't animate it- this is where you post your scripts if you decide to.

The Guidelines

• As Posting here, you are agreeing to have people take your ideas and scripts

• When Offering a script, you shall not complain if someone else uses it, and you will not charge any fee of some sort.

• Let's not have multiple people using the first script- this should be a first come first serve type of thing

• Your scripts do not have to be finished- they can be un-finished.

• If you decide not to use someone's script (and you said you would) post that you're not using it and someone else can take it

• NO COMPLAINING. Once a script is up for an offer- you can't take it down because it'll become unfair

sorry if this thread exists. just thought it'd be a good idea. So i'll start (and yes- i already posted this script in the share your story ideas because i thought of this thread after i posted there.) ok- here's my script. Unfinished. no Title.

Scene one: Johnson is at the police station

Suitcase slams shut. he pulls it off the table, and into his hand.he starts to walk away, out of the station. Then his narration starts, while a flashback happens.

*******************Flash Back********************

Narration:(is at his computer typing)I was in the middle of filing a report for the crime which had just happened on main street when i was called into the boss's office. Just then i new what was going to happen. Randy was laid off just last week- And Mike the week before.

Boss: hey Johnson- would you come in here for a second?

Narration: I didn't respond, i silently got up out of my seat and walked to his office. (does as he says)

The door closes behind him as he walks into the office. The camera gently moves forward onto the office door.

The Scene changes- but not dramatically (goes into his office)

Boss: Look son, i don't want to do this, but the -

Johnson: yep, I know. It happened last week and the week before that.

silence for a while. then the boss finally breaks in.

Boss: i need you to hand over your gun.

Johnson: Mmhhmm... (hands over his gun)

**************Flash Back************

Narration: he handed me a pan flit to a new recruitment center, which all seemed too new and fake.

he walks down the street, and while he walks down the street. his narration continues.

Narration: tomorrow is a new day. A New job. A new life.

The scene fades out to white.

Scene two: The new Center of armed warfare

he's walking down the hall of the center. dressed in his new uniform, though he does not have his helmet on.

Someone calls: (the new boss: Jackson) hey Rookie, over here!

johnson turns around, facing his new boss.

Jackson: welcome to the C.O.A.W. also known as the 'Center of Armed Warfare.' (they shake hands) This will be your trainer, Roy Stevenson. (introduces other man.) he will be your guide throughout the year.

Roy: hello, I'm Roy. Shall we get started?

Johnson: Sure. (the walk away from the boss)

Roy: so... how many questions do you have?

Johnson: well for starters: what's with the colorful sleeves?

Roy: Ranks. each person earns ranks. The darker the color of their sleeve, the higher the rank they have- and we are just about to approach the starting of the learning center. (they enter a room, full of controls and other stuff) Here's were every person starts. knowing the difference between us, and our enemies.

he turns on a hologram of a circling minifigure.

Johnson: they don't look like they're from earth.

Roy: that's because they aren't. /we are actually a secret program which protects earth from outsiders. if you'd follow me, you'll see what I mean.

They walk to another room. giant- but empty. just a portal is there.

Roy: this is were we go to other... places. These places aren't like earth, so that is why we need these helmets- for air- and other purposes too. So are you ready for your training?

johnson: sure.

ok- if you think this is a bad idea... o well
