Re: The Video Game Discussion Topic!
Millions of people listen to Coldplay, which doesn't make it a good band.

Millions of people listen to Coldplay, which doesn't make it a good band. You're confusing quality and reputation.
Except that they are.

And just because millions of people hate call of duty, that doesn't make it a bad game.
I'm not a huge fan of Coldplay.
And wait - isn't this the danged Video Game Discussion thread?
Has anyone seen the recent trailer for L.A. Noire?

Facial animation and acting is AMAZING. And I think this is Team Bondi's first game. ![]()
Yes. Especially at that price.
Change subject? Y/N Y.My freind just offered me CounterStrike:Source for free. Want to get it but it's rated M. Plus people usally say like "GO TO F$@#ing H$!@, man!". Still want TF2. Have never tried but looks great. I need feedback to see if it's good or not. Change subject?

Phantom, if you can handle the exessive swearing people does in Counter Strike: Source, and people screaming "omg hax" at you.. And you have the age for it, I would say go for it. Because it's a great game. Find a nice server, with a nice community and you're ready. Although, my tip would be don't go too deep into the game, as some people does. Some people take the game way too seriously. As the matter of fact, when you kill someone, people will scream "HAAAAAX!", either through microphone, or in the Source Chat. I'm not saying that every server is like that. The un-moderated servers tends to have this kind of people, but again, if you find a moderated server, that has all the reccomended stuff (Valve Anti Cheat, moderated, and a nice community) go for it.
Team Fortress 2 is in the other hand, a game were people just have fun. Because this game can't be taken seriously. The game is made in the humoristic (is that a word?) style. I once was on a server, when you shot someone balloons and fireworks would appear. But again, these games are rated M, I believe. So if your age doesn't match the restriction, don't get it. Wait til' you turn the age, that the game reccomends.
Well, I just bought VIP on a Garry's Mod server. A Serious RolePlay one, running Pulsar Effect. Defenty worth every penny.
I got FIFA 11 on PC and it rocks! But my laptop stops me from enjoying it to the max. It always freezes for a while and continues. Especially when I got an opportunity to score a goal.
Holy !@#$. You where lucky to find it at that price. Really.
Do you even have to ask, UniLego?

I seem to recall a man hunting down one of his Counter Strike opponents in real life and stabbing him.
Doubtful that you would ever encounter someone like that, though.

That guy needs a life.
More like 20 years to life.
And a psychiatric asessment test on the side.
Is anyone getting annoyed with the new Wii colours recently?
I mean, I know Nintendo are a company, and the need to make money, but it seems kind of mean to make everyone get the white one first, then bring out the colours we wanted in the first place months later just so some (rather silly) people buy a new one for the colour..
True, true.
I'm complaining now because I just saw an advert.
