Why not? Whether or not you like the guy, he's arguably the most popular brickfilmer ever. Copying what microphone he uses doesn't sound like a bad idea to me.
Why not copy Forrestfire? Well he may be the most popular brickfilmer ever he's certainly not the best one and never will be.... Keshen8 on the other hand is a great brickfilmer, just like Cannedgravy, SmeagolStudios and other buddies out here who are very talented.

There are a lot of threads worth bumping if you have something worthwhile to add. This is not one of them. Especially since the content of your post was based on the fact that you stopped reading my post after the first two sentences.
Dont use the things that famous people use!! like forrestfire101 actually says, use what works for you not what i use because im famous!! so use what works best for your stopmotion movies!! i have a singstar mic it works pretty good

I use a Logitech gaming headset which has awesome in built noise cancellation. If anyone's interested its model number is G330.

To remain on topic, I find most of Logitech's peripherals to be of good quality, including their microphones.
i have the logitech quickcam pro 9000 its pretty descent but im hoping to get an editing software soon to make my videos more HD!

I do reccomend Logitechs stuff, I have used it before, and it works nice.
