So recently I have bought after effects. Does anyone have any advice/help with set extensions using blender and after effects?

try using the motion tile effect (Effect->Stylize->Motion Tile)

no, it basically makes four mirrored copies of the picture and puts them around the frame.

putting CG in is really complecated
