By not using Windows Movie Maker.
What is it about searching that people don't seem to get...
actually I've used green screen on windows movie maker, if you have Vista or higher this probably will work:
Go to google, search for RehanFX green screen, you'll find the official website, everytime you use it and a pop-up says you need to do something about using it, just close it, you don't need to register RehanFX.
it's basically a list of transitions for WMM Vista, I used to use moviemaker and that's how I worked it out
@Lechology I don't know, but you also could have used some research, if so you would have found this solution to his problem instead of just complaining about what he did wrong, please don't take me as being rude, I'm just trying to help.
Cheers.

Get HeliumFrog.
Movie maker is not, was not and will never be good for animating.
Only slightly useable as an editor, but not special effects and the like.
yeah, helium frog- you can replace the green screen with the image while your animating though i've never tried it because i've never had to use it before....
if your serious about doing chroma keying with a green screen in WMM, then there is a transition plugin you can download, but its kinda limited. It would be easier for you to use another program.
But if you insist, http://lmgtfy.com/?q=green+screen+in+wi
ovie+maker
EDIT: whoops, i missed blhc11's input there. Yeah, that's what you gotta do.
Cinegobs Keyer is an extremely simple greenscreen program that works great for me.
EDIT: Oh, I just noticed Stan suggested it, but there's the link.
