I thought that would be a given.

I thought that would be a given.
Call me crazy but I have an idea to get this thread back on track.
Instead of entries just being pictures, why not have actual short animations showing good cinematography? Then it doesn't have to be limited to one single frame. How about that? I might even film something right now to get you guys started off.
I've been thinking about the same thing, some time ago. It was more of a contest, though, with prizes and stuff.
Perhaps both traditional frames and shots could be eligible?
BRILLIANT.
Let's get started. ![]()
lol. Love at first sight right? Totally spaced out about this.
Yep that's the theme. Personally I would do something sexy and seductive, but that's just me.
Well, someone better do something or this thread will die. I'll try to do something decent.
i'll try. love at first sight....
EDIT: A frame? ok.
Double post.
Here's my entry.
I take it you won Mason

Usually I dislike the bumping of threads, but I must say I would very much like this one to be revived. So, as this challenge has been rather overlooked these last few months, I'll start the next theme, if nobody objects of course.
So the new theme is Temptation. Being about half way through lent I thought this might be fitting, if anyone wants me to elaborate more just ask.
Nooooooo! Wait a second. My love at first sight entry is almost done.
Oh right, well, seeing as nobody's entered yet, lets say March 31st? I'll judge the following day (APRIL FOOLS!)...

Sorry, this isn't the best entry. I could only use one lamp so that is why the lighting is inconsistent. And yes, the white stuff on the girls head is supposed to be hair. I had to make it myself since, I didn't have any girl hair. This is for the love on first sight theme.
While that's a clever interpretation of the theme, WTA, the cinematography (which is really what this challenge is about) is rather lacking. You've got such a minimal set, the angle is not very dynamic, and the framing needs work. I'm not trying to tear you down here, because I think that if you put a bit more work into it, you'd have a pretty cool frame. ![]()
I believe so.
