quick question,
   i'm looking at my set (you can look above) and i'm telling my self: Gosh- there's not a lot of bricks and trees. so i went to Brix shack - bricklink.com but here's my question: should i buy more of those small one piece tree's, or buy a lot of bricks an make a tree. if i make one, it'll take longer... buying stuff from bricklink stores is hard because you think you know what you're gonna get, but then you see something else- and you want that too!

Also, i decided to have a small dolly shot in the very beginning, maybe i'll finish that clip tonight and post it!

Get a couple of both. Make some large trunks and low hanging branches in front of the camera. If you want, look at NXTManiac's Riding Hood themed film he just released.

yea, i think i'll order some of those little plants- i have enough bushes (8) and enough trees, just not a lit of those small weeds and other stuff. Thanks jargon!

Unfortunately, no. It was to be my Septemberfest entry, but I was far too disappointed by the camera quality of several scenes.

Make it like a real movie, like maybe a pan of a set or something, with your name in small, yet legible size in a corner or side of the shot. Fade in fade out, not crazy transitions. Professional.

you guessed it right- i'm doing it formally. a small yet readable cursive font (LINK) and all it does is fade in and out with the video playing in the background with peaceful piano music.

double post- my panning shot has 472 frames in it mini/XD over 30 seconds- with a frog animated in it as well, it has some few bumps (o well) but i think my rig worked pretty darn well

sorry for the triple post... but i got some news!
I just wanted to show you a clip i made. I am considering it the trailer- even though it isn't much. There are a few bumps, but that's okay because those could be the rocks on the ground of the forest. so i'm considering this the 'trailer' and it will also be the opening sequence of my film. Enjoy!

Perfect opening, like DerTarchin said, a bit bumpy, but still lovely.

sigh... mini/sad  i've been animating really hard, but i still can't get the feel i'm looking for... i still hope this works and is finished on time.

EDIT ADD ON---
i'm trying to think of a way to say this, but i cant. one of my scenes is going to be the hunter chasing the turkey, then the turkey chasing the hunter sort of matter which repeats with fast moving music... i think. if you watch the simpsons- you may remember an old episode (i can't remember...) but one of the characters was chasing someone, but they weren't running- they were sliding across the floor/yard. that's my problem..
   Should i have the minifigure and turkey slide while the music plays? I forget where i have also seen in. Tell me your thoughts if you know what i mean.

i'm so sorry, but i think i'm going to have to post-pone this project. mini/sad i've been working really hard and my animation isn't doing too well. thanksgiving is approaching faster than expected, and school working an overload of my time. i'm sorry for all of you thatvoiced and followed this thread... this video will come out late, perhaps a couple weeks after thanksgiving.

Yeah... I uhh.. mini/shifty have two videos... supposed to be secret... made before I even joined YouTube... hint: One's for winter holidays, the other for April Fools Day... so I'll release them then. Been waiting a year. You should release it next year.
