Re: What was the last movie you watched?
Toy Story 3
Best movie I've seen this year; Mr. Tortilla Head had me busting up laughing.

This is definitely my favorite animated movie. I love the films Pixar produces! Working for Pixar is my dream job ![]()
The 400 Blows
Y'know, I gotta be honest, given all the praise that's been piled on this film, I was expecting a lot more. It was nicely-directed and written with some nice touches here and there, but the film as a whole wasn't particularly compelling or interesting.
127 Hours
Some of the most intense 90 minutes I've had at the movies all year. Beautifully shot, well-paced and directed, and James Franco gives a really incredible performance.
Atlantis: The Lost Empire
The only Disney direct-to-video release that was/is decent.
Oh yeah, I remember seeing that in the theat- wait what?

Agreed on The 400 Blows. I had a similar experience when I watched it as well.
Ended up watching Army of Darkness for the second time this week (can't have enough Bruce Campbell camp). It was a double-date; we were snickering and heh-heh-ing all the way through, but our wives hated it. Go figure. ![]()

No, the image I posted was this:

Evil Dead II
Better than I remember it being, but I still prefer the other two. But still,
can't have enough Bruce Campbell camp
I do like the hand scene, I must say.

You can order it off Amazon.co.uk for 9 something pounds.
Inglourious !@#$%^&*
This movie is so awesome. It just gets better and better the more I watch it. It's becoming my favourite Tarantino movie...
Hope he makes a new movie ASAP
Double post...
Once upon a time in the West
This movie is a masterpiece. One of Leone's best.
Theater of Blood

Savage County
Pretty gruesome movie, especially in the beginning where a girl's head is shoved into a lawnmower blade. Pretty slow in terms of the plot, but it was still interesting and enjoyable to watch (outside of all the torture that goes on in the movie).
The Howling
That was pretty damn good.
Amazing transformations too! I think it might have been better than An American Werewolf In London, although I did like that film very much.
Same. I preferred that movie, although I think that the transformations in this were better. Jack's neck wound in An American Werewolf In London was an epic makeup effect, though.
Scarface (1932)
Good movie, I loved Tony's character here. I gotta say I exceptionally love the remake more (big childhood movie of min).
Some Romantic Comedy
So brain dead, formulaic and vulgar that I cannot remember the name.
Its strange that its a 'chick-flick' that is painfully unfunny and predictable, yet some of the sexual orientated humour tries to appeal to men. I dont know who its trying to appeal to....and I dont think the movie itself knows either. With most Romantic Comedies I can see the appeal it may have to women, but even with this I cant. It fails on all accounts.
Batman and Robin
Something else that fails on all accounts. Seriously, I tried watching it again to see if I could salvage some laughs out of stuff like Mr Freezes Puns....and I did laugh in an "oh-my-god-Arnie-even-YOU-have-more-dignity-than-this", but the lame puns, the cross between Tim Burton and Dr Seuss (which you THINK would be appealing to look at - but its not) and pretty much everything about this.....lets just say I would rather have to do an analysis of 'Avatar'.
I wont say any more, since everyone in the world has already given their view - so I would just be repeating what someone else has said - but I will add something that made me really annoyed/depressed:
When Batgirl reveals she is Barbara, she's like "Its me Barbara. I found the Batcave".....and then Batman + Robin just continue with their conversation as if she didn't say anything. I'm serious. I would ask you to go and watch it to see what I mean, but no-one deserves that.
Its actually kind of hilarious, since its like Batman and Robin think that her finding the Batcave and suddenly deciding to fight crime is so stupid that they just ignore her. But it annoys me to think that someone actually got paid to write that. Heck, it annoys me to think that everyone who worked on this movie got paid.
Seriously - it deserves all the criticism it gets.....and FAR more. When I saw a prop from this movie on display in a film exhibition early this year (it was Mr Freezes goofy helmet), I wanted to destroy it in an attempt to remove all traces of this movie. But I decided to just laugh at the stupid Ice Puns Arnold said whilst wearing that helmet - and the fact that one of my favourite actors of all time wore that. You see, if you catch me in the right mood, I can get enjoyment out of ANYTHING....

Legion
Agh my god, it was so bad. I was watching it with a friend, he thought it was okay, but I couldn't stand it. So we decided to go out and see
The Social Network
Really good, I really enjoyed it. I know it was a dramatization, but sometimes it felt over the top, however it was still a great film. Especially after watching Legion.
Red
You ever see a movie, and then at the end of it you just start laughing and you think 'WTF was that?!?' That is the feeling I got from this movie. It was in my opinion really funny. The plot could have been supplemented more in places, but it was followable. The cast selection was almost perfect. 4/5
