Topic: The First Thanksgiving -fifth update 11/10/10
Hello fellow BiM-ers. Some of you may have known, and some of you my have not known that i am currently making a short film. The name is obviously The First Thanksgiving. It will be about roughly several minutes, but that depends on what i choose to do. So let me update you guys on how far my progress is:
Scripting: 100% Animation: 5% Editing: 5% Uploading: 0%]
Yes, i am already done with the script, but you may be telling yourselves, "This film won't be good because he already finished his script." Actually, if you want an answer, I have been working on this script for a long time even before i announced it in my signature and on my youtube.
So far, i have not completed any animation. this is due to the fact that i just got the correct base-plates yesterday. So i still have to make the set, but i also can't animate yet because i still need help deciding something which i will post below.
Then of course, i'm not nearly done with my editing and uploading yet because i haven't even started my animation. So that basically tells that.
I am hoping to get this all done and uploaded by the Traditional American Thanksgiving ( November 25th, 2010) , but i have a lot to do because of my school work and other activities.]
This is semi based off of the actual true story of the first thanksgiving in 1621. Well not entirely, but the whole jist of the story is partially true. So if you know your facts, you may know what this is going to be about- but if you do, please keep it to yourselves and don't spoil it for others who are actually interested.
Throughout this month, and thread, i will be posting pictures of my set, small animations, and even clips of the final product to keep you attached. But to keep you attached to this right now, i will post a super basic layout of the entire thing, so here it goes:
A hunter chases a turkey throughout the video, while he encounters various obstacles, he then returns to the village to learn the news.
Now i need your help!!!!
i'm not sure which color pants fits the hunter. i am going to post 3 different variations, and please decide.

And i understand the shirt does not match the year, but... O well.
Voice Acting needed!!!
Ok, here's just some small rules i need you to understand before you start wanting to voice audition:
please fit the requirements next to the name, otherwise i won't accept you...
one voice per person (the same person can't have multiple voices throughout the video)
if i accept you, upload your audio file to mediafire, or some other file hosting website
after you're done with that, PM me a link to download that voicing file
if it's not what i'm looking for, i'll find someone else.
don't tell anyone else the lines i gave you so it does not ruin my video
Okay. now, i am going to tell you how i'm going to do this. I'm going to do a first come, first serve type of voice audition thingy... if you wan't to become a voice actor, say in a post in this thread the person you want to voice for, then PM me for the lines. after the first 3 (yes, there's only 3 characters) people say who they are, i'll post who are voice auditioning.
but fear not all you other BiM-ers that wanted to do this! just because i said they're voice auditioning doesn't mean they have the parts, i'll post after each of those three people sent me links to their file, then i'll say who made it, and who did not, then if a character was not taken, you can shout which one you want, and go through the same process.
so enough waiting, HERE ARE THE CHARACTERS:
Squanto - one line - male - any age... i don't really care for him...
The Hunter - three lines- male- adult or a kid with a strong voice
friend - one line - male - adult or kid with a strong voice, once again, doesn't really matter
ok, so once again, first come, first serve (to audition).
So that is all i have to say for now, i hope you enjoy my idea, and stick to this thread throughout the month of November.

The reason being school work. i'm still confident that this will be out on november 25th, 2010. I am also hoping to make a small trailer which will come out around the 20th. i do have school off this thursday, and i have a couple days off the following week.
