I would say, keep it simple.
There are a lot of free editing (VFX) programs out there, stock footage can be found cheap, or free.
On the other hand, that sort of thing might be nice inside the program.

make it a mac and windows software.That would be so amazing!
Also add features like White expanse and focus and anti-light flicker cause I think
some animators would like to have that.

No, he has a personal life, not to mention that it is a quite large and complicated piece of software. Be patient, give him lots of time. Personally, I'm not expecting this until late next year at the least.
