Topic: blender problem

I'm having a problem with reflections.  When there's a reflection, it reflects fine, but there's this weird grid pattern on it, and i have no idea where it came from. mini/confused   It's not because of what it's reflecting (it's surrounded by florescent light bulbs which you can see in the reflection)

here's what it looks like:

It looks kinda cool, but it's not what i want...

here's what it looks like without the reflection:

Does anyone know why it's happening?

thanks

Re: blender problem

If it wasn't for the grid, I would have thought you had two mesh models in the same location.  Can't tell just by renderings, we'll need to see the file.

here's the file: http://www.mediafire.com/?tlcn0g9k0g36ci1

i hate to admit it, but i didn't model the car, i downloaded it from blendercookie.com. mini/eh   I'm using it in a scene of an parking garage (you'll see little bits and pieces of it in the file like fluorescent lights and poles).  I adjusted the scene and took out quite a few things so that it could have a nice plain look for that photo i posted.

I guess question really shouldn't be posted here on bricksinmotion... mini/shifty
