Topic: GIMP Tutorial
I just recently got GIMP, and I searched on Youtube for a tutorial for the program, and was flooded by choices. Anyone have a link to a really good tutorial for the complete noob?

I was a n00b in Gimp once, go to GimpKnowHow, he's great!
Does he have a series covering every aspect and feature of GIMP?
Edit:
Thanks RB, but I'm looking for something that teaches me the BASIC basics. How to use the interface, etc, etc. I need something that starts from "this button does this" and so on.

Not really, but you can go here to learn more about the features of Gimp. But watching random tutorials such as GimpKnowHow can really help you get a better feel of the interface and what all the tools can do that the Manual won't tell you.
Hope that helps! ![]()

Well, he's got about 80 videos. Maybe you could check them out for yourself?
@LMP:
I'd rather a video, but thanks!
@Jargon:
I checked out his channel, it just isn't for me at the level I'm at right now. I'm looking for BASIC basics.
Sorry for being so picky, guys. Thanks for the responses though! ![]()
You could go to the Photo Manipulation thread and get help from us other Gimpers, me included!
I'll try her out , Steve.
And uniLego, thanks! I'll just post the same request there.
