Late Night Dinner Theater
Ok i'm surprised I thought of this but, after watching the Family Guy, and Chowder episodes with the dinner mysteries. And it hit me like a snowball in the face on a cold winter day.
It will be a Dinner Mystery but the viewer's decide who dunnit.
I don't know if i'll carry it through or not, but I like the idea.
Untitled
A husband and wife movie into a new neighborhood. The people are normal and friendly, but
gradually begin to act strange. The couple soon learn the whole nieghborhood is part of a satanic

Everything.

ZINGO!
Black Knight
A black veteran from Vietnam goes vigilante on the KKK after they linched his family when he was in 'Nam.
Untitled
The wild west...
A few gunslingers are on the run from the law after robbing a bank and they get lost in an Indian valley. 15 years ago a tribe of Indians were killed by other outlaws. The Indians come back from the dead and start going for the gunslingers.
Those are the two greatest things I have ever read on this forum.
I'm 100% serious. You are a genius.

Thanks. Not sure what I should call the Untitled one. The haunted valley of West Spring or something.

The Wrong Valley

I vote for RealBrick's "Disturbed". I like that title.
So I was half asleep riding on the bus listening to Ween and the idea for LEGO film about pirates who's vassal was part ship, part whale and all awesome. The ship would of course be submergable because it's a whale.
You could do a lot with this, you could have the whale pirates fighting imperials, or you could make it into a Moby !@#$ fan fiction where captain Ahab is hunting the great white whale, which is also a pirate ship. Or you could have the pirates enemies be space vikings in there dreaded long-space-ships. You could also have the pirates fight underwater shark men, or be maned by shark men, or fight shark men with jet packs.
You could probably make an entire genre of films about pirates in a ship that is also a whale. (someone please steal this idea, I would love to see it realized)
So I got an idea today, actually a few:
Till Death Do Us Part
A waitress at a diner in Arizona meets a convict one day while she's working, and they run away, in love,
together and go on a crime spree in Mexico, robbing and destroying chapels.
(Badlands, Bonnie and Clyde sorta idea)
Untitled
A boy murders a preist who he claims attempted to sexually assault him but fails to win his 'self-defense' case in court. He is sentenced to life in prison and is frequently visited by his mother who works hard to get him freed, but soon secrets about the preists past soon to unfold and a new trial comes in sight where those
secrets have the opportunity to be put into play.
Untitled #2
A quiet teenage girl is violently attacked in a South Dakota cornfield but escapes from her attackers. She
tries to have her attackers put away but due to a lack of evidence the girl loses her case, but her mother soon instructs her to seek a violent revenge against her attackers. The quiet girl that never hurt a fly, buys
a shotgun and is prepared to seek revenge.
I think the "Till Death Do Us Part" and "Untitled #2" are a bit cliché and corny but I like the "Untitled #1" idea but there would have to be a lot of flashbacks

I think Till Death Do us Part is a little too close to Natural Born Killers. (not implying you ripped it off, but that movie basically was a tribute to movies like Badlands and Bonnie and Clyde
)
I like untitled, but what do you mean wih 'boy' ? 6, 12; 16 years old? Because if he's underaged he's more likely to go to an institution or something. But I like the idea.
Untitled #2: Has potential, especially if you make the relationship between her and her mother work
Maybe it could the that the mother goes after the killer, but fails, and then she buys a shotgun or something. Could be good ![]()
I also like your Satanic neighborhoud idea btw, if you do it, you should take all the way.
(Here's the trailer to Natural Born Killers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_67t6I_beg You must see it!)
SlothPaladin, that is genius.
And I agree with Vik on Till Death Do us Part, it's quite a lot like NBK. Good title, though.
Untitled sounds like it could be fairly interesting. Untitled #2 sounds cool, I like the idea of the mother, it kinda separates it from most revenge film plots. Although it needs something... else (IMO).
Man, I've never gotten around to seeing NBK. I've missed it every time it was on cable. D:
And by the boy in 'Untitled', he would be around 15-17.
Another idea I have:
Untitled #3
A former prostitute takes a change in her profession. Whenever she is wanted by a customer,
she robs them of all their money they have present and leaves without giving anything in return.
Though a big customer wants her, the Governor of a state. Trying to rob him though, will be a challenge.

I've recently read a book titled "ideas for the animated short" published by "focal press" and I've come up with two ideas.
The thing is i've only ever made one small brickfilm before and i'm not feeling very confident about following these ideas through myself. I don't think i have the proper lego to make the sets anyway.
I just want to understand where this topic is leading before I post my ideas ![]()
