Anyway, since January is only 4 Months away, we may as well get the Judging stuff out of the way. Any volunteers?
I can! I've never judged but I want to!
I have judged various things before and I am in charge in a contest already, so I think that qualifies as experience. In any case, I'm free, and I'd be interested in it too.
... I'd like to, however since I don't know my schedule for January, I may not be able to do it- but the more likely case is that I will! Count me in.
I'd preferr it if THAC 8 could take place Jan 4th - 5th. If not, I'll be away but I could possibly be a judge.

Actually, I take back what I said about being a judge. Before I started YouTube and BiM, while looking at the amazing brickfilmers like FancyPants and MindGame, I always loved the idea of THAC. So I'd like to enter instead. PERIOD. 
Then again... judging for the first time sounds tempting... and its an important thing like THAC... no, I probably wont be picked anyway. I'm not... I dunno, popular enough, or good enough, not enough judging experience- you guys will find an excuse for not choosing me...

If I start looking for a sponsor now I'd say I could get about another $50 - $100 worth of prizes? Something like that. However I'd need to check with Smeagol as he has the defining word. Btw, I got my sponsor for FOS in one day.
I'll be entering no matter what day it's on.

Calm down, folks. I'd like for it to be an official contest like the last ones if possible. Will probably start trying to get it together in November or so. Haven't settled on a date yet. Late December or early January is likely, though a bit problematic this year...it looks like our main options are December 18th/19th or January 8th/9th? I'd sorta favor the December option because the other one is kinda late for some people but I'll be open to hearing which is preferable.
Though we talked about this last year, I'm not really open to moving it to a time of the week other than Saturday/Sunday because that would not be favorable for people who have jobs (IE adults) and might want to enter.
The person running the contest usually handpicks the judges. They're usually people who are actually good at brickfilming. (Gasp!)
