Yes, it's LegOpinions.

I managed to do a horse walk! Check it out:
You are simply unbelievable, sir.
Jay, I am in awe. What did you use to create that beautiful horse walk? Magic? I must know.
I don't think that counts- does CG count? I think it needs to be a brickfilming challenge.
BUUUT that was great from a technical standpoint. You are awesome.

Yup.
I absolutely agree that this being a brickfilming challenge, I'll sit this one out - and I'm happy to do so. I freely admit that my submission features a massive cheat.
To explain: I've attempted animating Lego horses before and have seen it done many times with varying results. I decided that rather than frustrating myself with the old techniques to try and "perfect" what is pretty much impossible (a convincing walk with legs that are both visible and immovable), I'd use whatever method I could do get something that LOOKED good.
What I've done here is to photograph a real Lego horse, break it into segments in Photoshop and animate it like a cutout in AfterEffects, adding dynamic shadowing to make it feel like a real, 3D horse on set. It was an immense amount of work and fairly impractical (it could only be seen side-on and on the right side of the frame, for example) but the result is pretty effective.
Okay, well, since he did use only photos, no CG, I guess you can enter this. It is amazing. So each leg is broken into segments? Wow. Nice job.
Ehhh it's great, but I don't think it should count...
Uploading my entry RIGHT NOW.
Aaand here it is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZREZia_TDcA (Please ignore that hand. I thought I had masked it out, but apparently not.)

Animation Challenge
Also, I don't believe either I or any other of the official judges has specified that CG isn't allowed. And besides, jay's entry is just too awesome to disqualify.
