I'm really looking forward to Brick or Treat and Emma's Untitled project. They are both looking great!
Though of course, I'm interested in everyones entries, it should be very interesting to see what you guys have been whipping up!
Question: Would it be OK if somebody gets zapped by a death ray and then melts? It would just be like a 1 second long shot. Is that too violent?
I guess I'm allowed to stab Bog Monster in the face with a hiking stick] so I'm assuming this will be OK?
I'd say that would be fine. Check with LO to be sure though.
Yeah, that's what I thought. I might just film it now and cut it out if he says no. I just thought I'd put that in there because you don't actually see anyone get zapped even though Bog Monster is firing lasers everywhere.
The zap ray would be alright, depends on how you do the melting. If you think it's too violent then cut it out, just to be safe, but I don't mind the lasers. Really looking forward to seeing this anyway, Danimation.
Cool. Because it's a B-Movie, the melting is going to look intentionally unrealistic/low budget. Pretty much I'm just making the minifig with plasticine and making that "melt". It won't be very violent. 
I'm doing a B-Movie and I was wondering if I could use daggrs, guns, and other weapons for they're uses but not use any blood and always have the guy not die. Is that ok?
Sure, I guess. I'm a bit unsure about the daggers, just make sure to stay on the safe side.
Ok. They only appear in one scene so it's not that bad.
I'm pretty sure this question hasn't been asked yet. Do we have to specify if our films are comedy horror, serious horror, or can we just enter them and the judges will decide what category it falls in?
Whatever you like, really. However I would advise maybe telling us, just so that when we're judging we can judge it as either a Serious or Comedic horror film, and we're not saying "Doesn't fit the theme"... then again, if you can't decide yourself then just enter it anyway.
