Okay, this may have just got a whole lot more serious.

Someone (I'm not saying it's one of you guys, though I'm not putting it out of the question, either) has been sending threatening phone calls to this brikwarsman guy. Now, I'm not 100% sure if I believe what this guy is saying, but if this is true, it's very serious. If you know anything about this, or are the person sending the calls, STOP IT NOW. This guy could very well take legal action if the calls persist, and I do not want to get the law involved over such a trivial matter.

Again, I don't 100% trust this guy; it's the internet, after all, and it's very hard to tell if someone is lying or not. However, the above still applies.

Haha, to be honest, I haven't seen anyone here or on the Blender forum that seemed to care enough to send threatening phone calls to this person. I'd say he's probably pulling your leg. That said, on the off chance that he isn't, you don't have anything to fear, aside from some embarrassment at your problem being the center point of the issue. You never asked anyone to rally in your defense, so you should be in the green.

I find the concept of making any sort of contact IRL based on internet hatred kind of hilarious and unbelievable, personally, but there's always someone willing to be that ridiculous. Just make sure it doesn't look like you are asking for help in harassing the guy, and he has no case against you. Of course, once again, I can't see anyone having really sent him threatening phone calls- if that was the first thing he brought up when you talked to him about it, I'd take that as a likely sign he knows he did something wrong.

Double post, I could have edited but I want to make sure Littlebrick sees this.

Just get out of there.
Upon seeing the response of the majority of members to your claims, I would say it's not worth the fight, and that you won't win. Brickwarsman's latest post almost completely solidifies the idea that he stole your model, in my opinion. The fact that he openly declared that he thought you stole his model (while we of course know you didn't), and attempts to draw attention away from the obviously legitimate comparisons you posted by suggesting they were faked (rather than defending the few small differences in the models, as he should have), and that you alone were leading attempts to protect yourself by spamming his workpages (along with the highly suspect phone call, all of these events being things you apologized for), all cry foul to me. However, just as an outsider looking in to the Blender forums, I don't think you have a chance of changing the minds of most of the people there. Saying he was a thief, while now appearing more and more accurate (although still kind of brash, but I understand you were angry, and think you've learned from that, there's no reason to chide you for it), lost a lot of support, just from the fact that he is a better known member than you. Not to mention that some members seem to believe it is alright to blatantly steal another member's work in the process of "learning" (just as we all know that students who cheat on exams are the ones who truly gain the most from the education system). My advice would be to just leave it, don't even try to defend yourself. Stop before your IP becomes suspect, and if you ever need help again, use an alternate account. They're just being unreasonable; there's no benefit to putting undue stress on yourself to prove something to people who aren't listening.

Dude, that sucks; for both of you, it seems.
