Ok, so I'm cloning myslef on Wax ('cause I think it's fun) When this message pops up saying "Wax preformed an illegal operation..." I'm like 
What the hell? And it does it again. It's weird. What's going on? Wax is great so why is it doing this? Please help!

Not to do with law, it did something that was impossible like a mistake in the coding.
Those messages are strange. Even the programmer normally doesn't know what that one means (at least I don't if my program crashes with that message).
I recomend getting After Effects.
I managed to get an older version for only 33 U.S. dollers.
It works fine, even though it's old.
Mostly it is that you choosed a height/width, which is not compatible to the codec.
And if you are overwriting an existing video which is actually used in the WAX-project.
