Topic: Fight Scenes

I'm going to try and do a basic, hand-to-hand combat, fight sequence, and before I start, I was wondering if any of you seasoned brickfilmers had any words of advice to give me in regards to this specific topic. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, and I'll be sure to post a link to the finnished product when I'm done.

Thanks,

Re: Fight Scenes

I've never actually recorded a hand-to-hand fight scene so dont take my advice too seriously mini/lol
But from what I've seen in other films is the camera work is intentionally shaky so as to give a tense and chaotic effect.

Re: Fight Scenes

Also, when you punch, dont make the hand go up,unless if you want to uppercut...If you want to punch the closest thing you can do is called a hook, that is where you hit the side of the head, which is harder to animate but more realistic, depends how much time you have...

Re: Fight Scenes

OK, number one rule:  DON'T MAKE IT SLOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If your sequence is slow, it will absolutely ruin the fight.
So whatever you do, do not for any reason make the fight slow.
Hope that helps!
Cant wait to see the fight scene! mini/smile
