I have the original two sonic games on SEGA mega-drive. I also have an arcade machine run by a PS1 instead of the usual circuit board, and can play a lot of games on it, but mainly Galaga because that is what it is labeled for. I was playing Halo 1 on PC the other day, and I now have a favourite part in the game;
On 'Assualt on the Control Room' (the sixth level I think) I love that bit near the end where the doors open, (and the music is what really makes it so awesome) and there are like, 20 covenant in there. It is just EPIC. (And then the flood appears, and the for a time the game goes downhill from there.)
See, I really want an Xbox to get all the other Halo games, but I bet they'll still never be able to be more epic.

I didn't mean they were hard, they just took a long time, but the new ones are a hell of a lot easier which sorta proves my point.
They just don't really make any challenging games anymore imo.
I know, I bought the original call of duty, and decided to play it on regular difficulty because regular difficulty is so easy in all the new Call of Dutys, It was much harder then I expected, and the game is long for a FPS, I still haven't beat it.
Not big news, but Nintendo has announced some new DSi XL colours. My dad got himself an XL (in dark brown) so he would stop hogging my Lite.
Why would anybody buy a new DSi XL now with the 3DS on it's way? ![]()
I've never been allowed to (or really wanted to) get a Gameboy or PSP of any kind, I just shmooz off other peoples DS's.
I have a 3 year old DS light. I hope it lasts long enough so I can get a 3DS before my DS dies.
Halo vs CoD:
Just needed to get my opionion on it out after watching various videos with comments of people who can't spell writing stuff like "Halo is ezy cuz i just grap a sowrd an d kil evry1 and thne gett teh roket luanhcer agd mak e sum moar LOL" and "COD cant tell a storey hulo is wya beter".
I can't belive the amount of stupidity on the internet!
IMO I prefer Halo although I haven't played a lot of CoD, mainly because I'm more of a sci-fi person. People accuse Halo of having overpowered weapons that make it easy to get kills, but in CoD weapons take down health VERY quickly. I don't have an irrational hate of CoD like most of the idiots who think Halo is amazing, I try to be a fair. But I might be wrong, perhaps if I played more CoD I might like it more, but I see it as not being particularily original, and the fact that they pump out one a year makes it seem more like a money maker rather than a game that has had as much time put into it as Halo, which gets a three year production cycle and is not based on things that already exist.
I guess I'm just more of a 'sci-fi' person rather than a 'realistic' game person. But then it's just a matter of opinion anyway.
I see, I've always been a CoD person myself, but I respect peoples opinions on liking Halo more.
Like you playing Halo first, I've always played Cod and just recently played some Halo, and I think if I played Halo first (impossible since I don't own an Xbox) I would be more a fan of it then CoD.
I got a DSi last year, right before I heard about the 3DS.
I find it a little sad how lots of people these days think that CoD will outlive every other video game. ![]()

Call of Duty is just generic, I fell for the facts lies that said Modern Warfare 2 was fun and then the 10-year-olds of Xbox LIVE got their hands on it and ruined it all.

The 3DS just got a price tag of $289
Totally worth it, I'm sure.

Sweet! Ive been a DS fan since they came out. How is the 3DS? Was it worth the money?
I currently use the original DS for my 50+ games, what is this upgrade you speak of?

I dunno if anyone else has heard, but littlebigplanet 2 has been pushed back to January 2011.
I guess it's a good and bad thing since it won't get crushed by all the other releases coming out in November.
