None of my capture softwares are working. Not MonkeyJam, Not Anasazi. Not Heluim Frog. Not Animator DV+. What should I do? I recently upgraded the OS, and now nothings working
It would help if you wrote a more detailed post. What doesn't work? The programs don't even open? Or something relating to connecting a camera?
<-- ClickMonkeyjam will run, but the camera won't show on the capture, and the other 3 won't open
what camera do you have?- that u use for monkeyjam
o good! that happened to me to- and i know how to fix it- but first... was there just a blank gray picture in the preview box?
EDIT: gotta go- i'll tell you how to fix it as soon as i get back on.
Is it plugged in?
What? You'd be surprised how often people miss that first step.
Assuming you've properly installed your camera, have you tried using the Logitech software that came with it?
Does it not show up on the Cameras menu in Monkeyjam?
Yes it's plugged in.
Yes the software works.
It shows up in cameras, but it won't show the image
I personally haven't had this problem, but I've heard that you have to raise or lower the contrast a lot.
<-- Clickok- when you open the camera in helium frog- it should be an all gray image- not the one you want. go to the quickcam's control panel thingy, then go to settings or something like that then at the bottom, click 'set to default' or something. i have to go to school right now- so if it still doesn't work or you still don't know, i'll post images how to fix it.
Do you plug the camera in before you start monkeyjam?
I find that it doesn't work if you start the program first.
