Nope. You got your facts wrong though, Magnificent Seven isn't really long, Seven Samurai is. It's also not the exact same movie, it just has a very similar plot.
I have seen both films and they are long, also I sometimes exaggerate, but for all intents and purposes they are the exact same movie.
Magnificent Seven is about 2 hours long, Seven Samurai lasts 3.5 hours. Also, Magnificent Seven is a western with guns etc. Seven Samurai is a movie with Samurai's taking place in another country during a different time period. So I wouldn't call them the exact same movie. I do know that the Magnificent Seven was based off Seven Samurai, so it's very very similar, yes.
