DerTarchin, do you mean AutoCad a computer program? I'll start using it this year for school.
Edit:Happy to hear that, jstudios. Same here, some weeks ago on an Italian "Magic: the gatering" forum.

Yes, designing on the computer. AutoCAD is an example. The computers in my school have 10 gigs of RAM!!! Newly upgraded, with 2011 versions of all designing software. I also wish to become an architect.. and I'll be taking 3 years of architecture in HS.
Heck, 10 gigs of ram? These have like 50 megas (probably more, it's just t give the idea). Yeah, they're really slow.
Edit: I'm talking about the computer of the school, mine has aroud 2 gigas of ram.

yeah, I know, same with my Studio thing.
major announcement! i'm sorry to imform you that i will be taking a break from brickfilming (not for long though..). The reason is because i want to learn more in CGI. DerTarchin, i've decided that i will make the star wars series (The Sith Awaken) will NOT be in lego- but i will try to make it as a computer generated video (CGI) in blender. I would really appreciate it if some people could help me out with voicing, blender andimations and more things. PM me if you have any ideas in a way that you could help. Also! i am still looking for a name for a Sith! It must begin with 'lord' The first one i see that i like- will be used through-out the series, and i'll give you credit.
Lord Garneth
Lord Dreskal/Drescal
Lord ... more to come soon.
Announcement basically saying he will do this Star Wars film in CGI
Well, I hope you do well with this CGI film of yours.
I just want to throw out a reminder that the forums are not a chat room. The chat room is the chat room.
I'm not going to name names, but I've been seeing some folks who've joined in the last month or so who've been posting a lot. Most of these posts are pretty shallow and they often just serve as an attempt by the author to make a joke or put someone else down. Posts like this here and there are easy to put up with, but the recent increase is fairly grating.
So please, I ask of you, calm down. Think more, post less. I'm not saying the forums must be a stodgy, serious place, but when every other post is a stab at humor, it gets old fast.
Am I included? I have been trying to have something helpful in each of my posts, something that benefits the current discussion. And may I also add that I have been posting less (though this is due to school
) yet more meaningful (in my opinion).
Like I said earlier, I'm not going to name names. Just consider what I've said and take what you think applies to you.
You're right Jargon. It seems to me that the longer I've been a member, the less I feel the need to post, and the more I want to just sit back and read what others have wrote.
In other news, I don't think I'll get around to animating my Septemberfest entry.
I need a lot of motivation and a lot more time.
I need more time too so I'm working in OVERDRIVE!

I just watched the Dr. Who episode 'Blink' and I was blown away! The Weeping Angels make for fantastic monsters and the episode delivered a nice load of mind-bending time travel fiction while practically dripping with paranoia.
